The message of Jesus is indeed good news and simple to understand but it calls for a serious decision so deserves a thorough explanation. And honestly, a thorough and honest explanation of it will offend many. Jesus himself was brutally executed because His claims were found to be so offensive to some. He told His followers, "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." Yet, what if His claims are true? Come and at least hear the claims so that you can decide for yourself.

If you listened to the ‘Good News’ message, you might be thinking something like, “Ok, I understand it but why on earth would I actually believe it?” That’s the way I think.

Most people assume that any religion requires blind faith and that there is no real, factual evidence to support any of them. You may be surprised to find that there are multiple categories resulting in a huge volume of compelling evidence that support the claims of Jesus.

This will only introduce you to that evidence. Whether or not you continue the investigation is up to you. Do you have the courage to openly seek the truth regardless of the consequences?

Growing in your knowledge of God and in your relationship with Him is essential for your faith. There are three main sources of truth. It is vital to remain engaged in all three to identify false beliefs and replace them with truths from the word of God.

Yet Jesus said that many who come to Him, sincerely believing they will go to Heaven and even doing mighty works in His name, will be turned away.

In this first part, we will identify several common misconceptions - ones that I’ve heard my whole life. Then we’ll clearly identify how Jesus defines ‘salvation’. This is part 2 of a 3 part series called ‘Heavenly Certainty’. Jesus teaches and other scriptures confirm that there is only one way to come into a relationship with Him. It is by being ‘born again’. This rebirth is a dramatic, miraculous event. When it happens, one ‘passes from death unto life’, ‘from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God’. The rebirth makes a person a new creation.

We’ll carefully examine the requirements for rebirth. Please don’t take this for granted. There are many misconceptions, even within the church.

This is the 3rd and final message of our series called ‘Heavenly Certainty’. Paul, in writing a letter to the Church at Corinth, challenged them to ‘test themselves’ to see if they are truly in the faith - genuine followers of Jesus. We’ve already established the dire necessity of this test since Jesus himself warned that many would come before Him on the day of judgement only to be turned away.

The Bible identifies many ways that you will begin to change, if you have indeed been born again. We will identify 13 of them here. It’s your opportunity for private examination with the goal of coming to complete assurance about your eternal destiny and the peace, joy and confidence that accompanies it.
